Vivas faíscas me mostrou um dia,

Causa o primeiro efeito; o pensamento
Endoudece, se cuida que é verdade.

Olhai como Amor gera, num momento
De lágrimas de honesta piedade,
Lágrimas de imortal contentamento.

Luís de Camões

Into the West - Annie Lennox

Lay down,
your sweet and weary head.
Night is falling.
You have come to journey’s end.

Sleep now, dream
of ones who came before.
They are calling,
from across the distant shore.

Why do you weep?
What are these tears upon your face?
Soon you will see.
All of your fears will pass away.
Safe in my arms,
you’re only sleeping.

What can you see,
on the horizon?
Why do the white gulls call?
Across the sea,
a pale moon rises.
The ships have come,
to carry you home.

And all will turn,
to silver glass.
A light on the water.
All souls pass.

Hope fades,
Into the world of night.
Through shadows falling,
Out of memory and time.

Don’t say,
We have come now to the end.
White shores are calling.
You and I will meet again.
And you’ll be here in my arms,
Just sleeping.

What can you see,
on the horizon?
Why do the white gulls call?
Across the sea,
a pale moon rises.
The ships have come,
to carry you home.

And all will turn,
to silver glass.
A light on the water.
Grey ships pass
Into the west.

Tortura - Florbela Espanca

Tirar dentro do peito a Emoção,
A lúcida Verdade, o Sentimento!
- E ser, depois de vir do coração,
Um punhado de cinza esparso ao vento!...

Sonhar um verso de alto pensamento,
E puro como um ritmo de oração!
- E ser, depois de vir do coração,
O pó, o nada, o sonho dum momento...

São assim ocos, rudes, os meus versos:
Rimas perdidas, vendavais dispersos,

Quem me dera encontrar o verso puro,
O verso altivo e forte, estranho e duro,
Que dissesse, a chorar, isto que sinto!!

If you´re not the one - Daniel Bedingfield

If you’re not the one then why does my soul feel glad today?
If you’re not the one then why does my hand fit yours this way?
If you are not mine then why does your heart return my call
If you are not mine would I have the strength to stand at all

I never know what the future brings
But I know you are here with me now
We’ll make it through
And I hope you are the one I share my life with

I don’t want to run away but I can’t take it, I don’t understand
If I’m not made for you then why does my heart tell me that I am?
Is there any way that I can stay in your arms?

If I don’t need you then why am I crying on my bed?
If I don’t need you then why does your name resound in my head?
If you’re not for me then why does this distance maim my life?
If you’re not for me then why do I dream of you as my wife?

I don’t know why you’re so far away
But I know that this much is true
We’ll make it through
And I hope you are the one I share my life with
And I wish that you could be the one I die with
And I pray in you’re the one I build my home with
I hope I love you all my life

I don’t want to run away but I can’t take it, I don’t understand
If I’m not made for you then why does my heart tell me that I am
Is there any way that I can stay in your arms?

‘Cause I miss you, body and soul so strong that it takes my breath away
And I breathe you into my heart and pray for the strength to stand today
‘Cause I love you, whether it’s wrong or right
And though I can’t be with you tonight
And know my heart is by your side

I don’t want to run away but I can’t take it, I don’t understand
If I’m not made for you then why does my heart tell me that I am
Is there any way that I could stay in your arms

Boa semana a todos...

Meu desejo

Meu desejo? Era ser a luva branca
Que essa tua gentil mãozinha aperta;

Meu desejo? Era ser o sapatinho
Que teu mimoso pé no baile encerra...
A esperança que sonhas no futuro,
As saudades que tens aqui na terra...

Meu desejo? Era ser o cortinado
Que não conta os mistérios de teu leito;

Meu desejo? Era ser o teu espelho
Que mais bela te vê quando deslaças
Do baile as roupas de escomilha e flores
E mira-te amoroso as nuas graças!

Meu desejo? Era ser desse teu leito
De cambraia o lençol, o travesseiro
Com que velas o seio, onde repousas,
Solto o cabelo, o rosto feiticeiro...

Meu desejo? Era ser a voz da terra
Que da estrela do céu ouvisse amor!
Ser o amante que sonhas, que desejas
Nas cismas encantadas de langor!

Within Temptation - Memories

[Whisper] Memories, memories, memories

In this world you tried
Not leaving me alone behind
There's no other way
I'll pray to the gods: let him stay

The memories ease the pain inside
Now I know why

[Chorus:]
All of my memories
Keep you near
It's all about us
Imagine you'd be here
All of my memories
Keep you near
The silent whispers
The silent tears

Made me promise I'd try
To find my way back in this life
I hope there is away
To give me a sign you're okay
Reminds me again
It's worth it all
So I can go home

[Chorus]

Together in all these memories
I see your smile
All the memories I hold dear
Darling you know I love you till the end of time

[Chorus]

(Oscar_Wilde)

Porque ela também merece...

Uma homenagem à minha linda cadela Shelby...

A coisa mais fofinha que existe...

A casa do tempo perdido - Carlos Drummond de Andrade

Bati no portão do tempo perdido, ninguém atendeu.
Bati segunda vez e mais outra e mais outra.
Resposta nenhuma.
Simplesmente bater. O eco devolve
minha ânsia de entreabrir esses paços gelados.
A noite e o dia se confundem no esperar,
no bater e bater.

O tempo perdido certamente não existe.
É o casarão vazio e condenado.

És pequenina - Florbela Espanca

És pequenina e ris... A boca breve

O ver o teu olhar faz bem à gente...
E cheira e sabe, a nossa boca, a flores
Quando o teu nome diz, suavemente...

Pequenina que a Mãe de Deus sonhou,
Que ela afaste de ti aquelas dores
Que fizeram de mim isto que sou!

Festa do Avante

Heaven is a place on Earth

CHORUS:

Oohh baby do you know what that's worth?
Oohh, heaven is a place on earth.
The say in heaven, love comes first.
We'll make heaven a place on earth.
Oohh, heaven is a place on earth...

When the night falls down,
I wait for you, and you come around.
And the world's alive,
With the sound of kids on the street outside.
When you walk into the room,
You pull me close and we start to move,
And we're spinning with the stars above,
And you lift me up in a wave of love.

CHORUS

When I feel alone,
I reach or you and you bring me home,
When I'm lost at sea,
I hear your vocie, and it carries me.
In this world we're just beginning,
To understand the miracle of living,
Baby I was afraid before,
I'm not afraid, anymore...

CHORUS

Heaven...
Heaven...
Heaven...

In this world we're just beginning,
To understand the miracle of living,
Baby I was afraid before,
I'm not afraid , anymore...

CHORUS

Boa semana a todos

Nine Inch Nails - Dead Souls

NINE INCH NAILS - Dead Souls

Someone take these dreams away
that point me to another day
A duel of personalities
That stretch all true reality

They keep calling me
Keep on calling me
They keep calling me
Keep on calling me

When figures from the past stand tall
and mocking voices ring the hall
Imperialistic house of prayer
Conquistadores who took their share

They keep calling me
Keep on calling me
They keep calling me
Keep on calling me

Calling me, calling me [x2]

They keep calling me
Keep on calling me
They keep calling me
Keep on calling me

The crow eyes

Beyond the nights sky
they watch.
The eyes, with their darkness
so deep, they look upon us all.
As I rise, I see all.
I see the one's who have done harm
on the one's I love.
They took away my true love,
the one I gave my heart to.
But now as I awaken, I will get my revenge.
They will pay one by one, they will
Feel the pain I've felt.
As I look around I see the eyes.
With the darkness and depth, so deep.
I now see all, and I know how I will reign,
After I will rest so restfully.
Because I know the eyes will always
watch, and as they watch I will watch, the eyes of
the Crow, will never betray me...

Recordações de uma vida...

Recordações,
Memórias passadas,
tempos perdidos,
sentimentos guardados,
alguns com muita alegria,
outros com tristeza,
mas mais significantes aqueles,
que nos marcaram para toda a vida...
